Founded by Didi, a Chinese designer who spent a decade immersed in the vibrant culture of New York, acid pill is born from a deep-rooted passion for understated elegance. Didi's aesthetic journey began in her childhood, flipping through the pages of ELLE magazine alongside her mother. Deeply influenced by her mother’s profound love for bags and her effortlessly simple, gender-neutral style, Didi developed an early appreciation for quiet luxury.
Holding a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and a Master’s degree in Business, Didi brings a unique dual perspective to her creations—balancing artistic intuition with structural rationality. Her ten years in New York profoundly shaped her vision, resulting in a signature design language that seamlessly blends the clean, minimalist silhouettes of American design with the subtle, intricate details of her Eastern heritage.
Inspired by art and furniture design, Didi maintains the natural attributes of materials to craft accessories with a static, object-like beauty. She advocates for imbuing everyday items with a high-class artistic interpretation, thoughtfully incorporating texture, line proportions, and subtle details from multiple angles. At the same time, a gentle yet powerful gender-neutral style—combining both softness and strength—remains a constant in the solid brand DNA of acid pill.
